Astrophysical seminar in which students work on a topic of their choice, which has to be presented at the end of the course.

Course organisation
- Format: The format of this module is a block seminar. We start with an initial meeting on April 12, 2023, at which we distribute the presentation topics among the participating students. Please register in the corresponding Olat course. The presentations will be held at the end of the semester.
- Exercises: There is no homework. In this module, the students are supposed to work independently on a topic from current astrophysical research and developments throughout the semester. The results of this work have to be presented in a presentation at the end of the semester in the context of a small workshop. The exact date is to be announced (tba).

Passing the course & exams: A successfull presentation at the end of the semester is needed to pass the course.
You can use the course's credits to be valued as the obligatory master's proseminar or as the proseminar for the minor subject astronomy (Astro 3).
